The Coffee Showers guide · 4 min read
What your shower
really changes
A filter, a vitamin C capsule, a scent. Here, simply put, is what each one does, and why the Coffee Showers ritual is unlike any other.
01
What tap water carries
Before it reaches your shower, water travels miles of pipes. On the way, it can pick up fine particles, sand or traces of rust. And to keep it safe all the way to the tap, the network adds chlorine, some of which reaches you: this is called residual chlorine.
Coffee Showers acts on both, in three stages, right inside the head.
02
How it works, in three stages
-
Stage 1 · In the handle
The 5 µm filter
A sediment filter sits inside the handle. It holds back sand, rust and particles down to 5 microns, roughly ten times finer than a hair, before the water reaches the spray plate.
Replace it as soon as it discolours or the flow drops.
-
Stage 2 · Under the copper cap
The capsule
Water flows through the capsule placed at the back of the head. Its vitamin C helps neutralise residual chlorine, and its scent is released with the steam, like coffee brewing.
Ten seconds to swap it, no tools.
-
Stage 3 · On the way out
The micro-bubble spray
A plate with very fine holes turns the water into a fine, enveloping micro-bubble spray. Made of BPA-free Tritan, the head stays light in the hand.
It screws onto any standard shower hose.
03
Inside every capsule
Five ingredients, all listed on the box. Tap a card to see what it does.
Ingredients listed on every box: Aroma Oil, Dextrin, Glycerin, Vitamin C, Xanthan Gum.
04
Why this one, and not another
A classic head simply delivers water. A shower filter filters it. Coffee Showers brings the filter, the capsule and the scent together in a single object.

Filtered water, head to toe
The same water is part of every gesture: rinsing your hair, washing your face, your evening shower. Sarah and her family have tried Coffee Showers in their daily routines. Here are their impressions, and ways to make the ritual your own.
Skin
Sarah describes skin that feels softer, a complexion that looks brighter to her and marks that seem less visible with use. In the shower, the filter holds back sediment and the scent accompanies your rinse: a moment to follow with your usual skincare.
Hair
Shine is the first change mentioned by her family, along with a scent that lingers in their hair after rinsing. Some relatives also report less breakage and shedding. Everyone keeps their usual routine and discovers how the experience feels for them.
Lashes
Lashes are part of your facial routine. The fine, even spray accompanies rinsing after your usual cleansing. The water first passes through the filter in the handle: a familiar gesture, within the routine you already know.
Brows
In the evening, facial cleansing continues with a filtered-water rinse. Around the brows and across the rest of your face, take a moment to finish your routine, with the scent you have chosen for that time of day.
Hands & nails
Your hands are part of every shower too. Sarah particularly remembers how soft her skin feels and the subtle scent after rinsing. For nails and the surrounding skin, this moment fits naturally into your everyday cleansing and care.
Beard
Short or long, your beard has its place in the ritual: rinse with filtered water after your usual care. Lemon brings a zesty note; Acacia, a lighter floral touch. An everyday gesture with the added pleasure of scent.
These are Sarah’s and her family’s impressions from their personal use. They are not measured results and may vary with the person, their water and their routine.
